Premenstrual Syndrome symptoms & treatment.

 Premenstrual Syndrome symptoms & treatment.

Premenstrual syndrome, or PMS, is a collection of symptoms that occur in the days leading up to a woman's menstrual period. Symptoms vary from woman to woman, and range from mild to debilitating. Common symptoms include mood swings, bloating, fatigue, breast tenderness, and headaches. There is no one "cause" of PMS; it's thought to be the result of a combination of factors including hormonal fluctuations, diet, lifestyle habits, and emotional stressors. Treatment options vary depending on the severity of symptoms, but may include dietary changes, exercise, medication therapy, or counseling.  Symptoms can include bloating, fatigue, mood swings, and changes in appetite.
